Get a Davie County Marriage License
Both people must go to the Register of Deeds at 123 South Main Street, First Floor, Mocksville, NC 27028. Office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No marriage licenses are issued after 4:30 PM. It is best to call ahead and schedule an appointment at (336) 753-6080.

Davie County Marriage License Age Rules
Under Section 51-2, you must be 18 to marry without parental consent in North Carolina. Those aged 16 or 17 need written consent from a parent or legal guardian. The other person cannot be more than four years older. People under 16 generally cannot marry. The Register of Deeds will check all ages using the IDs and documents you bring.
If you were married before, have the date of your divorce or the death of your former spouse ready. Under Section 51-1, both parties must be legally free to marry.
Davie County Marriage License Return Process
